Archives > Raqab 2013

Through my work I explore themes such as healing, growth, and temporal existence. Imagery of found and sculpted objects is painted directly from life or mediated through film photography. The metaphorical nature of my work allows me to transcend the tangible. The complexity of organic, visceral subject matter is a passageway into the unknown. Mark-making is my vehicle into that world.
